A channel for the audiences of today
In today's rapidly evolving media landscape, the ability to seamlessly transition between traditional television and the digital sphere is paramount for news organizations.
Since Manorama News's launch, nearly 20 years ago, much has changed, not least the advent of social media and content-sharing platforms; both YouTube and Facebook launched around the same time as Manorama News.
Whilst modest changes had been made over the 20 years, and new forms of engagement embraced, it was time to embark on a channel rebrand aimed at achieving a sophisticated digital edge while preserving its core credibility.
Creating a seamless experience
A comprehensive design system was needed, one that delivers a seamless and unified experience across both traditional broadcast and modern digital platforms.
Embracing the clean aesthetic and structured logic of interface design, the new brand identity is a responsive, vibrant, and agile system built for the modern viewer.
Gone are the traditional, lengthy title sequences, replaced by dynamic ident stings and a meticulously crafted typographic layout. This evolved approach prioritises efficient communication, ensuring audiences can effortlessly consume information at various levels, regardless of their chosen platform.

Stronger together
This successful channel rebrand is a testament to the power of collaboration, vision, and a commitment to innovation. With its revitalised design, Manorama News is well-positioned to continue serving its audience with credible and engaging news, seamlessly bridging the gap between traditional television and the ever-evolving digital world.

It was wonderful to continue our long association working closely with Ian and Amy of TWIN-Associates. They understood the need for Manorama News to seamlessly crossover between legacy television and the digital medium on this critical channel revamp.
The vibrant design with a clean interface is revolutionary and gives Manorama News the digital edge while simultaneously upholding the credibility and trust we've cultivated over the years. We are extremely grateful to Ian and Amy for their expertise and dedication, and we genuinely cherish the opportunity to collaborate with them.
